The Allhours charter
Six promises built into every shift.
These are rules the platform enforces, so an employer can’t opt out of them. A shift that breaks one doesn’t get published.
Always open
Hospitals, kitchens, warehouses and hotels never close, so neither do we. Shifts are posted and claimed at every hour, including 3am.
One rate, every hour
Each shift shows a single hourly rate that applies to every hour worked, day or night, and never below GH₵15/h. That’s over 5.5× the 2026 national minimum wage of GH₵21.77 a day (about GH₵2.72/h). What you see on the listing is what you earn.
Paid on a proper payroll
Every shift states its pay schedule (weekly, fortnightly or monthly) and whether it’s paid by Mobile Money or bank transfer, just like any job in Ghana. You see the pay day before you claim.
Booked means booked
Claim only what you can work. Dropping a booked shift, at any notice, or not turning up is a strike. 3 strikes in 30 days pause claiming for 7 days.
Safe after dark
Shifts that run into the night have to say how they keep you safe, whether that’s a ride home, lit parking, a paired shift or security on site.
Rest is protected
Shifts are capped at 12 hours, and Allhours won’t let you book two shifts with less than 11 hours between them.
Trust, both ways
Know who’s turning up, and who’s paying.
Employers need to know a worker can do the job. Workers need to know the shift is real and who is paying. Allhours checks both sides.
Requirements on every listing
Employers list exactly what the job needs, from a food hygiene certificate to steel-toe boots. Workers confirm each one before claiming, and the employer sees what they confirmed.
Verified credentials
For licences that really matter, like security, healthcare or forklift, the Allhours team checks the document and its expiry date. Employers see “verified”, never the file.
Approve your crew, or book instantly
Employers choose instant booking to fill a gap fast, or review each applicant’s profile, experience and reliability first. Workers they’ve hired before can be approved automatically.
Real businesses, factual records
Every shift is posted from a business account, and employers can have their registration verified. Records are facts, not opinions: shifts worked, no-shows, dropped shifts and withdrawn listings.
Outsourcing, IT and the 24H+ economy
Built with Ghana’s outsourcing sector.
Contact centres, IT helpdesks and back offices serve clients in other time zones, so their busiest hours are Ghana’s night. BOSAG members, staffing agencies such as L’aîné Services and the 24-Hour Economy Authority use Allhours to train, verify and book that workforce, at home or on site.
