Who we are

Eleven years of other people's emergencies

We have rebuilt servers at midnight, recovered ransomware-hit file shares, cabled a clinic in five days and explained to more than one director why the cheap switch was not cheap.

Getitgh is a team of engineers, developers and technicians working out of one office on Spintex Road. There is no offshore helpdesk and no subcontractor chain — the person who quotes your job is in the same room as the person who does it.

Our clients are law firms, clinics, freight agents, schools, retailers and manufacturers between 5 and 150 staff: big enough that IT failure costs real money, small enough that hiring an internal IT department makes no sense.

How we operate

Four commitments we will not trade away

  • We quote in writing, then invoice that figure

    Every engagement starts with a scope document listing deliverables, assumptions and exclusions. If the work grows, you approve a variation before we touch anything.

  • An engineer, not a call centre

    Retained clients get a named engineer who has seen their cabinet, knows their ISP account and remembers which machine is temperamental.

  • Documentation is part of the job

    Labelled ports, as-built diagrams, an asset register and credentials in a vault your own manager can open. You are never held hostage by your IT provider — including us.

  • Ghanaian conditions are designed for, not excused

    Power protection, generator changeover, ISP failover and offline-tolerant systems are specified from the start, because the alternative is a call-out every Monday.

How we got here

From a van full of cable to a full IT function

  1. 2014

    Two engineers and a van

    Started repairing and networking for small businesses around Spintex and Baatsona, mostly by referral.

  2. 2017

    Retained support launched

    Moved from call-out billing to fixed monthly contracts after clients asked for predictable cost and faster response.

  3. 2020

    Web and marketing added

    Clients kept asking us to fix websites built badly elsewhere, so we brought design and development in-house.

  4. 2022

    Authorised procurement

    Formal supply agreements let us deliver genuine hardware with claimable warranty inside 48 hours.

  5. 2025

    Fourteen services, one contract

    Support, infrastructure, security, web and procurement now run as a single IT function for over 400 businesses.
